According to unofficial information from French gaming media, specifically Jeux Vidéo Magazine, Ubisoft may release an Assassin's Creed: Black Flag remake in March 2026. Of course, that date is not entirely certain, as certain parts of the game still need to be completed, which is considered one of the best installments in this series.

The same magazine mentions the Singapore branch of Ubisoft's studio, which is primarily responsible for the "pirate" aspect of the game. It seems that this long-awaited remake will also feature longer gameplay than the original, reportedly even four hours more. Among the additions, there should be the character Mary Read, who was removed from the original version. Another interesting fact is that the studio has reportedly decided to completely remove all "modern" parts of the game. In the original, the player could exit the Animus to explore the offices of Abstergo, unlocking evidence and traces of Edward Kenway's connection to the assassins.

Some fans are not satisfied with this rumor, as the "modern" part of the game has always represented a special element of the story and provided a different perspective on the entire world of Assassin's Creed. This segment of the series began with Desmond, whose journey also opened the main narrative line.

All in all, the long-awaited remake of Assassin's Creed: Black Flag is expected to arrive next year, and many already consider it one of Ubisoft's most interesting projects.
