Wargaming, the development studio and publisher of the game World of Warships: Legends, the leading historically accurate naval multiplayer game for consoles and mobile devices, enters 2026 with a new content-packed update. Major additions include the new Born in Battle campaign, the 7th wave of Azur Lane, the French Navy event, and the Gouden Leeuw office project. A new marathon for the legendary Soviet battleship Kremlin has also begun.

The Born in Battle campaign brings new rewards to World of Warships: Legends

The first campaign of the year is here. Available until January 23, the Born in Battle campaign features 100 milestones that players must complete, and a wealth of rewards is on the table—from camouflage to crates and more. Players who complete the entire campaign with active Admiralty Support will welcome the British premium destroyer of level VIII, Somme, into their collection. This versatile vessel is armed with invisible long-range torpedoes and the consumable Torpedo Reload Booster with unlimited charges for maximum destruction.

New time-limited Azur Lane content is available from January 19 to February 23

Azur Lane returns to legendary waters with the 7th wave, bringing new content from the side-scrolling naval warfare game to World of Warships: Legends. Starting January 19, World of Warships: Legends players can dive into battle with five new Azur Lane captains, the Italian premium battleship of level VII AL Vittorio Veneto, the German premium cruiser of level VIII AL Ägir, the premium Soviet cruiser of level VI AL Tallinn, and the German destroyer focused on torpedoes AL Z24, as well as a new crate and skin for AL Massachusetts.

Vive la France! The French Navy event has begun

The new French Navy event stirs the seas with themed rewards, including special crates for French Battleships. These crates contain skins for the French battleships Normandie, Lyon, Richelieu, Alsace, Bourgogne, Strasbourg, and Flandre, and may also grant the premium battleships Strasbourg or Flandre themselves. Crates can also be obtained through the new Freedom Guardian calendar, which will reward players who complete it with the character Marianne for French captains. In addition to the new event and calendar, daring players can participate in the Mer De Courage mission to unlock the French captain Chareles Bléry.

Legendary ships, new competitive seasons, and more

Two legendary ships are arriving: the Dutch cruiser of legendary tier Gouden Leeuw with the Air Strike ability that can deal massive damage is here as a Bureau project, and players can start collecting Ship Parts to unlock the Soviet battleship of legendary tier Kremlin as part of a marathon through three updates.

Additionally, players can look forward to new seasons of the Fleet Cup, ranked battles, and brawls in this update, along with the full release of Japanese hybrid battleships and a range of additional enhancements. At the end of the update, from February 9 to 23, players can complete a special task and enjoy discounted ships, skins, and captain characters as part of the Lunar New Year celebration.
