The Chinese studio Seed Lab has revealed new details about combat and multiplayer in its anime-inspired life simulation game Starsand Island — the game is coming to PC (Steam/Microsoft Store), Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S in early 2026.

In addition to farming, fishing, and building a home, the game now introduces third-person combat — while exploring the mystical ruins of the island, players will encounter strange and corrupted animals that can be cleansed of magic using bows, slingshots, and other weapons, and then tamed.

Powerful bosses await in the ruins, and battles require strategy: players will need to exploit enemy weaknesses, upgrade weapons and ammunition, and time counterattacks well. The reward is greater — unlocking advanced professions and resources for further progress.

Moreover, exploration and life on the island is not limited to solo play — Starsand Island supports multiplayer, allowing friends to plant, raise animals, build homes, travel, and even ride animals or drive vehicles across the island.

Starsand Island promises a combination of peaceful island life and exciting adventures in the ruins — ideal for those seeking a balance between tranquility and action.
