Self-taught developer from Singapore, abnermtj, and Japanese publisher Kakehashi Games have revealed Epoch Reset, a new 2.5D cyberpunk adventure, with a release planned for 2027.
Epoch Reset features striking visuals inspired by anime and follows scientist Hector Rodriguez — an awkward author who, while doing various jobs to survive, accidentally creates the first functional time machine… and an invention that could one day destroy the world. At least — that’s what the assassins chasing him from the future claim.
Players will jump through timelines and follow changing protagonists, explore futuristic cities like Hong Kong, Tokyo, and other metropolises, and follow an engaging, twisted story as they try to save reality from forces that distort time.
Epoch Reset is scheduled for release on PC in 2027.
