3D Realms has announced that Painkiller will be released on October 9, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Two editions are available for pre-order: standard (40 euros) and deluxe (50 euros), and as a bonus, you will receive character and weapon skins based on the Middle Ages.
For those who are not familiar with the history of this series, it originally appeared in 2004 as a PC exclusive and sent players into a battle against the forces of hell. A similar theme will be present in the new version where we will stop Azazel and his monstrous children, but this time we will not be alone, as we will be able to play in a trio.
