You know that feeling when you're searching for your keys around the apartment and finally find them in the fridge? Now imagine doing that on purpose and actually having fun. Welcome to Escape Simulator 2, a homegrown project from Pine Studio in Samobor that locks us once again in rooms full of puzzles, mechanisms, and objects that all seem to be hiding something.

Escape Simulator

The first Escape Simulator was already a hit among escape room game enthusiasts, but the sequel takes everything to a new level. Literally. This time, you’re not just watching floating hands, but real little characters that walk around, animatedly wonder, and panic as they try to figure out what they missed. The game looks far better, the lighting is more realistic, the physics finally make sense, and the feeling after solving a puzzle is still perfectly satisfying.

The biggest change is that everything feels more natural and lively. Co-op is still here and even better than before. You really feel like you’re in the same room with friends, rather than just watching virtual hands nervously rummaging through drawers. Escape Simulator 2 has a new graphics engine, more interaction with objects, better physics, and a greater focus on teamwork. Almost everything you see can be picked up, thrown, or broken, which naturally leads to many comedic moments when someone accidentally knocks over an important item just as you think you’ve solved something.

Puzzles remain the core of the game, but they are now noticeably more complex and diverse. There’s no longer that feeling of the game holding your hand. You have to think, combine, and collaborate, just like in a real escape room. Each room has its own charm and atmosphere, from classic detective puzzles to completely bizarre situations that make you wonder what exactly went wrong in the authors' minds, but in the best possible way.

Escape Simulator 4

Compared to the first part, this is a real step forward. The first Escape Simulator was charming and fun, but it felt simpler. The second part has more depth, charm, and that feeling that Pine Studio has seriously put effort into every detail. The physics are no longer “why is the chair flying,” but “this really makes sense.” Visually, everything is smoother, and the humor is still discreet but present, just enough to make you laugh when your brain is already slightly boiling from trying to connect three strange symbols with something that looks like toast.

Escape Simulator 5

Escape Simulator 2 is not just another sequel, but also an indicator of how much the local gaming scene has matured. Pine Studio once again proves that titles can come from Croatia that look, sound, and play like global hits. If you love puzzle games, logic, and cooperation, this is a game you must not miss. And if you enjoy watching your friends lose their minds while rummaging through every item in the room looking for an obvious solution - even better.

Conclusion:

Escape Simulator 2 is an example of how a sequel can be made with thought, love, and a lot of attention to detail. Everything that was charming in the first part is refined, expanded, and elevated to a higher level here. The game has soul, has humor, and most importantly, it has that feeling of “just one more room and then I’ll go to sleep,” which, of course, turns into a gaming session that lasts until the early hours. Pine Studio has once again proven that games can be made in Croatia that rival global titles, and we can only hope that the third part will arrive before we manage to escape from all these rooms.
