FutureLab has announced that their cleaning simulator will receive a sequel this year. Powerwash Simulator 2 will once again put players in the role of a cleaner, and this time there will be a new campaign and a washing method using soap that will help with larger surfaces.
Campaign progress will be shareable through online play, and there will also be co-op for four players. "Powerwash Simulator 2 is a natural evolution compared to its predecessor," said designer Dan Chequer.
He added: "The design of the original game was focused on eliminating everything that diminished the pure pleasure of taking something dirty and cleaning it. PowerWash Simulator 2 is all about adding even more ways for players to achieve the same feeling of satisfaction, with new tools, features, and quality of life improvements."
COO of the studio Chris Mehers said: "We are thrilled to finally announce the sequel to one of our most successful titles. With over 17 million players worldwide, PowerWash Simulator has enabled us to self-publish the sequel, an exciting challenge that we are pleased to undertake."
