The head of Xbox Game Studios Craig Duncan announced in a official podcast that Playground's Fable will be delayed until 2026. "I just want to start by saying how pleased I am with the progress and where Playground is currently."
"We originally announced that Fable would be released in 2025. We decided to give it a bit more time, so it will now be released in 2026. Although I know these are not the news people want to hear, I want to say that the wait will definitely be worth it."
