Xbox Game Studios with the teams World's Edge, Forgotten Empires, Tantalus Media, CaptureAge and Virtuos revealed the release date of the new expansion for Age of Mythology: Retold. Age of Mythology: Retold Obsidian Mirror is coming to the game on the 21st. April and brings a new civilization.
From distant oceans, the Aztecs are coming to us in a brave and long-sought-after expansion that will reshape the way gods, mortals, and powers clash. Obsidian Mirror was developed for players who want to expand their experience, but also play with a civilization that does not appear often in real-time strategies, you can expect new gods, mechanics and an epic story driven by divine rivalry.
You will have three gods at your disposal: Quetzalcoatl, Tezcatlipoca and Huitzilopochtli, each of them will be special and have their own play style. Quetzalcoatl (Feathered Serpent) will speed up his subjects with the wind element and strengthen their culture and education, Tezcatlipoca will use the object Smoking Mirror to reverse reality, while sun god Huitzilopochtli will ask for sacrifice and devotion and give great power to those who will glorify his name.
Age of Mythology: Retold Obsidian Mirror will be available for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series and PlayStation 5.
