The new trailer for the upcoming movie Spider-Man: Brand New Day literally "broke the internet" and set a new record in the entertainment industry - and faster than anyone expected.
According to available data, the trailer collected more than 500 million views in just 24 hours, making it the first trailer in history to reach that number in one day. This broke the previous record held by GTA VI, whose trailer achieved around 475 million views in the same period.
But the story doesn't stop there - the total number of views continued to grow and eventually reached over 700 million views in the first 24 hours, setting an absolute record for any trailer, movie or gaming.
