GIANTS Software and Straight4 Studios have released a major 2.0 update for Project Motor Racing, which represents the biggest update to the game since release. The new patch brings a number of significant improvements aimed at improving the driving experience, stability and long-term playability.
One of the biggest changes is a completely redesigned user interface that allows for faster and clearer navigation through races, car selection and career progression. In addition, new informative tools have been introduced to help players better understand vehicle settings and the force feedback system. Driving has also undergone significant refinements. Steering physics, tire behavior and assistance have been improved to provide a more realistic feeling on the track, with more stable braking and more precise feedback on steering wheels and controllers.
The online segment of the game has received serious improvements, including better protection against cheating, better session management and a new License Points system that encourages cleaner and fairer driving in ranked races. From April 1, ranked races will include all vehicle classes, including DLC content. The career mode has also been refreshed, with clearer progression and a greater emphasis on long-term driver development. Added new elements such as sponsors from real motorsport, podium ceremonies, trophies and improved race presentation.
Update 2.0 also brings visual improvements and better technical stability. Lighting, graphics quality and performance have been improved, which should ensure a smoother and more consistent experience during races. Along with the big update, the first official DLC called Japanese GT500 Pack was announced, which will be released on March 31. The package brings five modern SUPER GT GT500 cars, four classic JGTC models such as Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34) and Fairlady Z (Z33), as well as one Japanese track.
Project Motor Racing is available for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, and on the occasion of the release of version 2.0, the game is temporarily discounted by up to 50%. A Year 1 Season Pass is also available, which includes upcoming DLC and additional content planned for 2026.
