Emberville tries to combine a cozy game like Stardew Valley, with aspects of home improvement, gardening, fishing, social relations with npc, with an action rpg like Diablo, where the main focus is on fighting, upgrading the character through gear, skill tree and learning new abilities, and on battles against epic bosses. The game is guided by a skill-based system instead of traditional classes, which means that if the player decides to play with a shield and a sword, by killing the enemy, he develops skill in the shield and sword, but at some point he wants to play with a bow and arrow, he can do this on the same character and train the bow and arrow skill from 0. With the combination of stylized pixel art, voice acting by some of the most famous voice actors of today such as Doug Cockle (Geralt in Witcher) and Amelia Tyler (narrator in Baulder's Gate 3), and the depth of combat and character stylization, I believe that the game will become a hit upon release, and I would not be surprised if we find it on the top 10 lists for 2026.
