CRKD, known for its collectible gaming products like the Nitro Deck, has introduced ATOM+, a new generation of ultra-compact controller that brings serious capabilities in an extremely small format.
ATOM+ is designed as a keychain controller – small enough to attach to your keys or backpack, but with the functionality of a real gamepad. It is compatible with Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch consoles, PC, mobile devices, tablets and Smart TVs, aiming for maximum gaming flexibility on the go. The biggest innovation comes in the form of TMR (Tunnelling Magnetoresistance) thumbsticks, which should completely eliminate the problem of stick drift, with greater precision compared to classic or even Hall Effect analog sticks.
Despite its size, ATOM+ brings a complete set of controls: dual thumbsticks, action buttons, digital triggers and shoulder buttons, as well as additional toggle controls. The built-in battery is charged via the USB-C port, and the connection takes place wirelessly via Bluetooth.
The controller also supports additional functions such as vibration, motion control and turbo mode, while all settings can be customized via the CRKD Companion app – including key remapping and firmware upgrades. An interesting addition is the CRKD True Collection System, which enables the registration of the device and the discovery of its unique number and "rarity rank", which gives ATOM+ a collector's component.
ATOM+ comes in four colors: Smoke Black, Glacier Blue, Retro Purple and Pal Grey, and the start of delivery is expected at the end of June 2026. The suggested retail price is €34.99, while the US price is set at $29.99. Pre-orders are already available via the official website.
