Publisher Good Smile Company and developer Frontwing have announced a new visual novel called COCORO, coming to PC in 2026. The game will be available through platforms like Steam and DLsite, with support for multiple languages including English, Japanese, and Chinese variants.
Known screenwriter Konno Asta, best known for the visual novel ATRI: My Dear Moments, is working on the project, while Akio Watanabe, known for his work on the anime series Monogatari, is in charge of character design. In addition to them, the development team includes other experienced authors, including composer Matsumoto Fuminori, which suggests that COCORO could be another quality representative of the visual novel genre.
So far, no details about the story have been revealed, but it is known that the game will have full voice acting, with the main character COCORO being played by Hina Youmiya. More information is expected in the coming months.
