The list of nominated series for the prestigious Emmy Award has been officially announced. The second season of the HBO hit series The Last of Us, based on the video game series of the same name, has been nominated for as many as 16 Emmys, as a reminder, the first season was nominated in 24 categories.
The Last of Us will compete against Andor, The Diplomat, Paradise, Severance, The White Lotus, The Pitt, and Slow Horses. Six actors from the series are in the Outstanding Performance category, and they are: Bella Ramsey, Pedro Pascal, Catherine O’Hara, Kaitlyn Dever, Jeffrey Wright, and Joe Pantoliano.
The 77th Emmy Awards will take place on September 14, 2025, at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. The full list of categories in which The Last of Us is nominated is:
