According to a report published on Bloomberg business portal, Sony has started developing the PlayStation 5 Portable console! It is essentially a mobile console that will likely be the same size as the Steam Deck.
The release of this new portable Sony console, after the PlayStation Vita, is earliest possible between 2026 and 2027. This will increase the number of players who will be able to play PlayStation 5 video games. As for the first leaks, they are expected during the next year, 2025.
It’s nice to see that Sony, alongside Xbox, plans to release a portable console. The new generation that includes the new Nintendo console will be interesting! We will definitely follow the developments with special attention.
