Konami is working on a remake of the legendary game Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, and one interesting change could surprise fans – the camera choice affects the gameplay difficulty. Players will be able to choose between a modern third-person view or the classic perspective from the original, but this decision comes with a greater challenge.

According to producer Yuji Korekado, the third-person camera, called 'New Style', makes the game easier as it provides a wider field of view and allows for easier movement and shooting. On the other hand, 'Inherited Style' retains the original camera angle, making the game more challenging as the view is limited.
"We planned to allow switching the camera during the game, but we realized that it would affect the difficulty too much," explains Korekado. Therefore, they decided to separate the gameplay styles – the modern approach offers an easier game, while the original style provides a harder and more authentic experience.
This change brings an interesting dynamic – players will have to choose between an easier or harder experience depending on their camera preference.
