Bungie has postponed the release of Marathon from September 23, 2025, to an undefined date, most likely during 2026. The new release date will be revealed this fall.
Additional development time will be spent on improving the quality of the final version of the game. Marathon will eventually be released for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5 when it is ready.
