When we came up with the idea to launch a new local video game portal over a few beers in June last year, a year later we never expected in our wildest dreams that we would visit the largest video game fair in the world, Gamescom, and establish direct contacts with publishers like Ubisoft and Bandai Namco!
Acquaintances and friends told us we were crazy, that we would give up everything within a few months, that the portal would fail by the end of 2024, etc... Despite the difficulties and unexpected situations that did not work in our favor, we did not give up. Day by day, we fought a tough battle; we must admit it wasn't easy. Fortunately, we can say we managed to survive the first year!
What have we achieved in the past 365 days?
- with the help of collaborators and friends, published over 1500+ articles (including regular news, reviews, announcements, special articles, retro articles, reports, trailers, etc.)
- published over 150 game reviews
- established cooperation with relevant publishers, development studios, and PR companies
- visited the largest video game fair in the world, Gamescom
What do we want to achieve in the next 365 days?
- strengthen our presence on social media
- launch a YouTube channel
- increase the number of quality special and thematic articles
- intensify coverage of news related to consoles and exclusive games for PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch
- establish cooperation with official representatives and authorized distributors of PlayStation in the Republic of Croatia
We thank everyone for their support and for reading the news on our small portal every day. We are aware that we are not the highest quality local portal, nor are we the most up-to-date local portal, but we are trying our best.
On the occasion of this great anniversary for us, in the coming weeks expect contests and giveaways on the portal, as well as on our social media where we will be sharing games from our partners for PC and consoles. We are certainly looking forward to the new year and the new challenges ahead of us.
