According to American Deadline, actor Elliot Page is preparing a TV series based on the Quantic Dream video game Beyond Two Souls. The filming rights were secured through his company Pageboy Productions, and the story will follow Jodie's journey from a government experiment to a fugitive and her reconnection with the mysterious entity Aiden.
Page stated that working on the game was one of the more challenging experiences of his career and that the rich narrative and emotional depth of the story provide a perfect foundation. Their goal is to create a unique vision of the characters and their journeys that will leave an impression on fans.
Matt Jordan Smith from Pageboy Productions said the following: "this adaptation will pay tribute to the game's legacy and present a new perspective. It will address issues of survival and how brief decisions can change not only our lives but also those of others."
Director and writer of Quantic Dream, David Cage, commented on the series: "we are extremely excited to collaborate again with Elliot Page on this project. I was captivated by his performance in the game and I believe there is no one else who can tell the story with such passion through another medium. Beyond Two Souls is a special game for millions of players around the world who have been touched by the story of Jodie and Aiden and their lives. I know that Elliot has all the talent and instinct to create something special on TV.
Beyond Two Souls is currently in the early production phase.
