Ubisoft has announced that it is preparing a new survival-extraction experience for Tom Clancy's: The Division 2 for 2026. The Division 2: Survivors will be similar to the Dark Zone from the first game and will also be partly a remake of Division 1, with more details to be revealed next year.
"The Division 2: Survivors is as much our child as it is yours, and we want to be completely transparent during its development. Communication and community involvement will be the focus as we build this new experience, and we will closely involve you as we progress in development," said executive producer Julian Gerighty.
Also working on this expansion is Magnus Jansén, who was the creative director on the first game and has returned to the series after a long break. During Gamescom, a longer roadmap was announced showing all the expansions that will come to Division 2, as well as the news that a closed testing will be held for the mobile title Tom Clancy's: The Division: Resurgence.
