Pearl Abyss has announced that Black Desert will officially launch in a native version for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on Thursday, June 26, 2025, bringing faster loading times and an enhanced gaming experience for console adventurers around the world.
For adventurers who started their journey on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, this transition will be seamless and free – allowing them to retain all progress and player history and continue their adventure on next-gen consoles.
Pearl Abyss also revealed the initial content schedule for upcoming updates on the new platforms. The first major update arrives on Thursday, July 10, 2025, introducing the beloved and powerful new class Deadeye, as well as the unveiling of the mysterious new region Ulukita. These are the first updates that fully leverage the advantages of the latest generation hardware.
