Save Sloth Studios and Yogscast Games have announced a release date for The Royal Writ. The game will come out for PC on August 7, and is described as lane-based card title which was created as an application for 48-hour Ludum Dare game jam and it is because of the positive feedback moved into the full project phase.
Story The Royal Writ follows the king who has sent letters to all the troublemakers in the kingdom, after a few of them refuse the invitation he goes into battle. Players collect different creatures that they send into battles, each of which has its own strengths and weaknesses, and the battlefield can greatly affect them.
