Famous publisher Apogee Entertainment and an indie studio Fuzzy Sock Studios have officially announced that their sci-fi twin-stick shooter roguelike Rising Heat to come out on December 2, 2025. Described as roguelike in style Enter the Gungeon meets Geometry Wars, curious space adventurers can already add the game to their wishlist and try out the demo on Steam for Windows PC.
Rising Heat recently received praise from playtesters at Gamescom for its smooth and intuitive gameplay, including various ways in which dash charge can destroy the enemy, innovative fuse a mechanism that allows pilots to adjust abilities according to their own needs and a complex co-op mode that requires strategic flying in tandem for maximum destruction.
