Ubisoft and Evil Empire have announced that The Rogue Prince of Persia, the acclaimed 2D action-platformer roguelite, is coming to Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 on December 16, 2025. Following a successful launch on Ubisoft+, PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5, the arrival on Nintendo platforms marks a new phase in the expansion of this hit game.
The Switch versions will be fully optimized for handheld and hybrid play and will include all content from version 1.0 – biomes, weapons, medallions, and a refreshed visual style. Alongside digital editions, physical Standard and Immortal editions will arrive on April 10, 2026, featuring a premium SteelBook and art cards. Pre-orders will start on November 14.
