Tencent has announced that Delta Force will receive an open beta for PC on Steam and the Epic Games Store on December 5th. They previously stated that the game would have early access, but they have abandoned that idea, and the beta will contain full updates and will not have content repetition. They have called the open beta a "long-term, stable live service with continuous content updates."
Although the game will be a free-to-play title, the beta will feature a paid battle pass, which will include skins for weapons and vehicles, without pay-to-win elements. "Expect a lot of new content such as maps, modes, characters, weapons, and vehicles with gameplay improvements, including better performance, bug fixes, and a stronger anti-cheat system."
The beta will not support controllers, but this is in development and will be added in the future. Delta Force is being developed by Timi (Call of Duty Mobile, Honor of Kings), and mobile and console versions will arrive in the first half of 2025. The game will also feature a campaign based on Ridley Scott's film Black Hawk Down.
