ININ Games has announced the release date for the new game from the well-known point and click series Simon the Sorcerer. Back in 2022, they announced a new title named Simon the Sorcerer: Origins, and now they have stated that it will be released on October 28, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series, and Nintendo Switch.
This is a prequel to the entire series and the beginnings of the young wizard, who will once again be portrayed by Chris Barrie (Arnold Rimmer from Red Dwarf), and reportedly musician Rick Astley will also appear, although we do not yet know his role.
It will be a true point and click adventure in 2D style with 15,000 hand-drawn frames and the aesthetic of 90s cartoons.
