Surely you have heard of capybaras, the adorable hamster-like rodents that have become the subject of various memes in recent years. Now, imagine them as warriors, bards, mages, or druids. Add a bunch of colors, cheerful graphics, lots of weapons, and bullet hell, and you get Extremely Powerful Capybaras, an indescribably fun game.

Just by looking at the controls, you realize that this is a very simple game. But that doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing. Namely, the goal of the game is to survive a round that lasts 15 minutes while destroying endless hordes of enemies: zombies, fish, some strange shrimp, clouds that attack you, and various other unusual creatures. You need to keep one thing in mind: don't let them surround you because your chances of survival drop to a minimum!

At the beginning, you have 4 classes available: Warrior, Druid, Assassin, and Bard, and you can unlock two more. You just move around the arena, and your basic attacks happen automatically; every few seconds you stab with a spear or shoot a projectile. By killing enemies, you collect EXP in the form of colorful orbs, and when you collect enough, it's time for a level up - then you have the option to choose from randomly offered additional skills that will help you in your goal - some of them are active, meaning they shoot projectiles, birds circle around you preventing enemies from getting close, snakes fly left and right of you, or simply explode when someone hits you. Others are passive, meaning they reduce cooldown, increase damage, boost your attributes, or simply give you large stats bonuses when you're low on HP. However, you can only activate 5 of each type, so you need to think quickly because it may happen that you are waiting for that one you like the most, and it doesn't come. But hordes of enemies are coming from all sides, so you need to be ready to take what is offered to you that can be useful.
It is important to note that after each battle, all skills reset, and you start from scratch in the next one, although it is possible to buy an initial boost for all skills before you enter the arena, of course, if you have earned enough money during battles.

After surviving 15 minutes, a boss fight begins, which is honestly the easiest part of the arena.

The most fun part of this game is multiplayer, from online to couch co-op; it is indescribably fun to fight through hordes of enemies with a friend (up to a maximum of 4 people), combine skills, stick close to each other, or argue about who ate that slice of watermelon that you needed, and now you're dead. But not for long, because friends can revive you if they kill a certain number of enemies while standing next to you.

Graphically, the game is very nicely designed, capybaras in costumes, lots of colorful colors, funny characters, and interestingly drawn enemies. There is an option to purchase additional costumes that are quite expensive, considering that with the same money you can buy skill upgrades, you will probably buy costumes only after you purchase everything else, which isn't a big loss since costumes have no other effect besides the visual impression.

The music is solid, nothing special, but the sound effects are quite monotonous and it's hard to discern what happened because most of the time you'll hear the sound of collecting EXP orbs.

There is a lack of a story to draw you in, there are only 4 arenas, which isn't much, but the game has a high replay value, so you'll often play even the easiest level again with friends (or your son, like I do) because it's just so damn fun!
