Play by Play Studios has announced a new arcade basketball title NBA The Run. The game takes us on a journey around the world in an adventure that combines 3x3 basketball and its main foundations: style, connection, and competition. In addition to familiar faces on the court, there will also be a brand new team called Street Legends consisting of players who will have unique personalities, skills, and stories.
Creative director Michael Young has been in the industry for a long 20 years and has a wealth of experience with sports games, and for NBA The Run he says he has come full circle, as it is the type of game he has always wanted to make: fast, stylish, and social, aimed at both casual and hardcore players. NBA The Run will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S consoles, with a release planned for next year.
