Atari and Bandai Namco have announced a range of products to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the most famous yellow ball. The Atari x Namco collection includes a new release of the Atari 2600+ Pac-Man edition console ($170), and there is also Pac-Man: Double Feature which includes Pac-Man 7800 (a new version of the arcade classic) and Pac-Man 2600 (the first home console release).
During the San Diego Comic-Con (July 24 to July 27), visitors will have the opportunity to get 1,000 exclusive packages of Pac-Man: Double Feature worth $100. This includes 2 cartridges in the colors of the famous ghosts, along with a special badge and patch.
The collection will also feature special controllers in five colors representing specific characters (Pac-Man, Inky, Pinky, Blinky, and Clyde), each available for $40.
Atari has also announced a new DLC for Atari 50, The Namco Collection which will bring Pac-Man 2600, Galaga, Dig Dug, Xevious, Galaxian, and more for $8.
