President and founder of Insomniac Games Ted Price, who recently announced his departure, appeared on the podcast on the Kinda Funny Games YouTube channel. During the conversation, he touched on many topics, but he was also asked about which project he wanted to work on but couldn't.

Price revealed that Insomniac proposed to Sony to work on the fourth installment of the Resistance franchise, which was a launch title for the PlayStation 3. "It was a beautiful concept and the result of many team members who were ready to continue the story."

"I believe that Resistance created an alternative history where anything could happen with the Chimeras regardless of where they were located. We worked a lot on the backstory and the flow of ideas on where we could go next."

When asked why he thinks the proposal failed, he said that the timing and market potential were not favorable.
