According to the latest rumors and analytical estimates, the legendary RPG The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt could get a brand new DLC as early as 11 years after the original release - already in September 2026.

Although CD Projekt Red has still not officially confirmed the project, more and more sources indicate that something is really "cooking" behind the scenes. Analysts believe that this additional content could serve as a bridge to the upcoming The Witcher 4, which is not expected to be released until after 2027.

Interestingly, the possible release of the DLC in May 2026 was previously mentioned, but recent reports suggest that the project could be moved to a later date - potentially September, which would place it in a strong fall season before the release of major AAA titles.

If the rumors turn out to be true, this would be the third major expansion for The Witcher 3, following the acclaimed expansions Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine. Considering the reputation of these DLCs, fans' expectations are – understandably – huge.

For now, everything remains at the level of rumors, but one thing is certain: the return of Geralt (or maybe Ciri?) in a new adventure would be a huge event for the gaming scene and a perfect introduction to the new Witcher saga.
