Founder of Insomniac Games, Ted Price is leaving the company after 30 long years. Price entered the industry in 1994 when he founded Insomniac, which created some of the most well-known franchises (Ratchet & Clank, Spyro the Dragon, Resistance, Marvel's Spider-Man). His position will be succeeded by Chad Dezern, Ryan Schneider, and Jen Huang.

Price will officially leave in March, and he addressed the following statement: "I made the decision last year. After 30 years at Insomniac, I decided it was time to leave and make room for others to build something new. Over the past year, I worked with the core team to create future plans that I am confident will provide the consistency, stability, and strong leadership that will deliver everything fans will appreciate for decades to come."

He added that he firmly believes that having people who are intimately familiar with the company's work is crucial for future success, leadership that has helped build the culture and processes that have earned people's trust. He concluded the announcement with the following words: "Chad, Jen, and Ryan have been key for years in creating Insomniac into what it is today. I have watched each of them lead major initiatives that positively changed the lives of employees. They have also demonstrated the kind of collaboration and transparency that make up our DNA."

"There’s no way I would ever hand over the reins to a team I don’t trust to lead the company and take us to new achievements."
