Take-Two announced during the presentation of sales results for the second half of this year that it has sold the indie company Private Division. It is currently unknown who the buyer is and for what price the mentioned company was acquired. In an interview with Variety, CEO Strauss Zelnick stated:

"We made a strategic decision to sell Private Division so that we can focus on better resource allocation and the longer life of our company. As part of this transaction, the buyer received a catalog of all past and future titles from Private Division."

"Take-Two will continue to support No Rest for the Wicked, which was released in April as an early access title. We are grateful for everything Private Division has done for us and have no doubt they will continue to achieve success."

It was also revealed at the meeting that two studios have been closed: Intercept Games (Kerbal Space Program 2) and Roll7 (OlliOlli World).
