The Croatian studio Today's Games announced the release date of this domestic metroidvania at the end of the year, which we will be able to play on January 31 of this year, on Steam and Nintendo.
It will arrive on other consoles shortly after, during Q1 2025.
While we wait for the release of ReSetna, the Today's Games team has presented a new official trailer and a new demo.
The new demo features a completely new gameplay zone
The previous demo version showcased Polis_13, the first zone of the game. The new demo, which is already available on Steam, introduces the previously unreleased gameplay zone Acidia, the second of seven regions in the game.
As ReSetna and her loyal companion, drone IXA, players can explore the entire Acidia zone, experiment with a unique chip upgrade system inspired by Tetris, and face the boss Cerpiant.
The boss fight offers exciting and strategic combat - Cerpiant has unpredictable attacks, using toxic liquid both as a shield and as a weapon. This boss lurks in hidden areas in a specific way, luring prey into its den, giving a false sense of security before the attack.
A brief and thrilling overview of all seven gameplay zones has been revealed in the new gameplay trailer.
In a few tense seconds, we see an intense boss fight with Margot, the ruler of the Data Garden Dome zone, as well as a ruthless Guardian laser boss fight, which we will encounter in the Vault region once the full version of the game is out.
The new trailer revealed that each of the seven zones has a different story, unique art, and new enemies. One such example is the Darkness zone, whose rulers are the twins Zenith and Nadir.
The interesting aspect of this zone is that the laws of physics do not apply as they do in the real world. Players will experience changes in time and space, cosmic entities, and many other phenomena occurring there.
In addition to a few bosses and interesting enemies, the trailer also reminds us of the original soundtrack of ReSetna, which combines synthetic and organic elements to achieve a somewhat eerie and tense atmosphere of that post-apocalyptic world.

In a world where organic life has gone extinct, artificial intelligence APEX takes control of the remaining robots, known as OptiGens, and the entire infrastructure.
Unfortunately, machines are not immune to the passage of time. Without adequate maintenance, they begin to rust and deteriorate, and the only remaining engineering robot is responsible for performing repairs.
Additionally, the production of new robots ceased a long time ago.
APEX has become overwhelmed by the growing number of tasks it must perform, and now a new threat has emerged.
A mysterious digital entity known as Signal is attacking the remaining OptiGens.
To counter this, APEX activates the ReSet protocol, awakening a robot named ReSetna.
Her mission is to locate and eliminate Signal.
