Pokémon fans are eagerly awaiting the arrival of Pokémon Legends: Z-A, the latest game in the Pokémon franchise set to be released at the end of 2025 for Nintendo Switch. Following the success of Pokémon Legends: Arceus, this game brings a completely new experience set in Lumiose City, the heart of the Kalos region.
The Urban Revolution of Lumiose City
One of the biggest innovations in Pokémon Legends: Z-A is the transformation of Lumiose City. The city is undergoing significant urban changes, creating a new dynamic between Pokémon and people. Wild Zones are expected – areas within the city where wild Pokémon will roam freely, allowing players to interact in a completely new "trainer" way.
Starter Pokémon and Battle Innovations
Players will be able to choose between Chikorita, Tepig, and Totodile as their starter Pokémon. Additionally, the battle system will undergo significant changes, such as Pokémon moves now having different ranges and zones of influence, allowing for greater strategic freedom. Players will also be able to dodge attacks and switch Pokémon during battles without losing turns.
Game Freak promises that Pokémon Legends: Z-A will be one of the most ambitious Pokémon experiences yet, combining familiar elements of the series with completely new concepts.
