According to the portal Insider Gaming, former members of the team that created Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown are reportedly working on a "new" game from the once-popular Rayman series of video games.
The original 2D Rayman video game was released in 1995, and thanks to good sales results, it prompted Ubisoft to create numerous sequels. The last game in the series, Rayman Legends, was released in 2013.
If this rumor is to be believed, a remake of the first installment is currently in development. The development is reportedly being handled by Ubisoft Milan with consultations from the franchise creator Michel Ancel.
We expect official confirmation in the coming months. As for the rest of the former Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown team, it is said that the employees have been transferred to the development of the vaporware title Beyond Good & Evil 2 and the new Ghost Recon.
