Tetsuya Nomura revealed how the development of future titles is progressing on the occasion of the second anniversary of the mobile title Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis. As he stated, Kingdom Hearts IV and the third part of the Final Fantasy VII remake are still going well and in development.
"Looking at various comments, I see that people often ask what is happening with the third part of Final Fantasy VII. Motomu Toriyama said that more could be known at the marking of the second anniversary of Ever Crisis, I can say that things are going very well and that is all I can share. The release date is set and we are sticking to that plan, so I ask for your patience."

The third part of the FF7 remake still does not have an official title, platforms, or date. As for Kingdom Hearts IV, the last major piece of information came in May of this year in the form of new screenshots.
