It seems that NetEase Games and Marvel Games have found a real goldmine, as their new shooter has achieved impressive numbers. The team-based 6v6 shooter Marvel Rivals is finally available as of this weekend, although it seemed like a bad day for a release since Path of Exile 2 and early access for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle also launched.
It appears that this was not a bad idea after all, as the team announced that the game has reached an impressive number of 10 million players in just 72 hours.
They are also helped by the fact that all future content regarding new playable characters will be free, while cosmetic items and the battle pass will be paid.
