The World of Tanks team releases an explosive crossover with MachineGames' legendary Wolfenstein video game series. Starting from October 2, 2025, World of Tanks players will step into the shoes of William J. Blazkowicz and his Otopor allies in the upcoming action Battle Pass: Wolfenstein. The action lasts until October 13, and gives commanders the chance to receive exclusive Wolfenstein-themed rewards, including authentic characters from the franchise as crew members, 2D styles, various customization elements, and Germany's first Tier VIII twin-barreled tank - the fearsome Zwilling.
The Zwilling, captured by Regime forces and converted by Blazkowicz and his allies, is the first German Tier VIII heavy tank with a twin barrel gun. Combining fast aiming, durable armor and swift mobility, Zwilling wields twin cannons capable of delivering brutal volleys or targeted single shots. Adorned in 3D Götterfaust style, the tank embodies brutalist and industrial design, combining angular shapes, simplified printed armor plates and Wolfenstein visual motifs - from drone hulls to trophies like Panzerhund and Zitadella heads. All these details turn it into a vengeful symbol of the Resistance.
Five authentic Wolfenstein characters, each voiced by their original actors, will join the battlefield. Through chapter progression, players can recruit the legendary William J. Blazkoeicz as well as his nemesis, the scientist Wilhelm “Deathshead” Strasse, both available with zero abilities. Additional in-game packs give access to Resistance heroines Anya Oliwa and Caroline Becker, as well as the badass Frau Engel—each with three abilities and a unique sync.
After completing all 40 stages of the base reward course, commanders will earn an arsenal of Wolfenstein-themed items, including exclusive decals, lettering, 2D styling, and William J. Blazkowicz himself as a tank commander. Wilhelm “Deathshead” Strasse is also available through the base progression, ready to join the Tankers.
