With the historical release cycle of the new generation of Sony consoles - PlayStation 2 (2000), PlayStation 3 (2006), PlayStation 4 (2013), PlayStation 5 (2020) - it is possible that the PlayStation 6 will arrive on the market between 2027 and 2028. Due to the years lost during the coronavirus pandemic and the lack of exclusive games that take advantage of the power of the PlayStation 5 console, it is to be expected that Sony will probably not rush to with the release of the PlayStation 6.
I am of the opinion that the official presentation is at least two to three years away. Until then, the PlayStation 5 Pro remains the best choice for PlayStation fans, with expected improvements in performance and visuals over the base model of the PlayStation 5 console.
