Verho – Curse of Faces is a dark fantasy RPG that brings a fresh interpretation of the genre, inspired by classics like King's Field. The game is the work of a Polish studio Kasur Games, and betrays her CobraTekku Games, and is available at Steam za 19,99 €.
The action takes place in an abandoned and spooky world Yariv, where showing one's face means certain death, so they are masks became a symbol of survival and identity. Each mask represents a class with unique abilities – from slow, heavy fighters to agile warriors and wizards with various spells.
The game combines exploration, tactical combat i discovering hidden paths, while visually stunning retro aesthetics inspired by the PlayStation 1. Deliberately rough textures and a low level of detail create an atmosphere of nostalgia and anxiety, perfectly fitting the gloomy tone of Verho's world.
