Independent Croatian development studio Pine Studio has announced that their long-awaited sequel to the hit game Escape Simulator will be available from October 21, 2025 on Steam. The new game brings a number of improvements, a more detailed environment and the possibility of playing together for up to eight players.
In order to warm up the atmosphere before the release, Pine Studio has already offered a free demo version of the game that takes place in the eerie atmosphere of Dracula's castle. This demo will be featured at the upcoming Steam Next Fest digital event, giving players an early look at new puzzles and improved mechanics.
Escape Simulator 2 builds on the great success of the first game, which attracted millions of players with its creative and physics-based escape room challenges. The sequel will have significant improvements, including the all-new Room Editor 2.0 tool that allows you to create your own rooms and challenges, as well as expanded online co-op for team solving tasks.
The game already has more than 250,000 users who have added it to their wishlist on Steam, confirming that Escape Simulator 2 will surely be one of the indie hits of the fall season.
Players can immediately try the demo version and add the game to their wishlist via the Steam page.
