Have you ever wondered what it feels like to be the leader of a SWAT team that must rescue civilians and neutralize enemies? Then Phantom Squad is the game for you!
Phantom Squad is a game designed to be played in multiplayer. Up to a maximum of 4 at the same time, and the goal of the player is to cross various levels, neutralize a certain number of enemies or save civilians without being harmed by the enemies.
The player in the game gets a lot of different equipment to choose from, from automatic rifles with silencers to flashbang a grenade, a lockpicking set, a shield with lights that blinds opponents and much more. The approach must be tactical, cautious and thoughtful. The entrance through the door can and must be even more careful. The most useful part of the equipment, in my opinion, is the camera for looking under the closed door, because it allows us to see what is coming before we go through the door.
The types of missions are various, each of them with a kind of story and debrief mechanics that deepen the story and the very details of the mission. In each mission, the player can collect up to 3 stars, which indicate how many additional challenges he has completed in addition to the main task. Enemies can be shot or beaten and tied up and thus neutralized.
The conclusion of the game is very positive, we personally had fun playing Phantom Squad, but we recommend the game up to a maximum of 4 players for even greater enjoyment of the game. In the main menu, the game boils down to "lead" the game or join someone else's game, which tells us that it is intended as a multiplayer game, there is no pause as such in the game, you can press pause, but if the enemy comes to you, it will not help you. The game is available from 18.07.2025. on Steam at a price of €13.79.
