Guest satisfaction is a central part of the game. Their reactions, comments and requests clearly show how well the player runs the motel. If the rooms are not clean or the equipment is worn out, guests will quickly express dissatisfaction and the motel will lose its reputation. On the other hand, if everything is at a high level, the motel attracts more and more guests, which opens up space for expansion and additional facilities.
On the PlayStation 5, the controls are well adapted to the gamepad. Moving through menus, managing rooms and interacting with objects works intuitively, and the responsiveness of commands is excellent. As for trophies, Motel Business Simulator offers a set of challenges typical of the genre: achieving a certain number of satisfied guests, keeping the motel at a high level of cleanliness, expanding capacity and making maximum profit. The platinum trophy is awarded to players only when they manage to overcome all the previous tasks, so the path to it requires time and dedication.
Overall, Motel Business Simulator is not a game that will appeal to fans of action or suspenseful adventures, but for those who like management challenges and simulations, it provides enough content and detail to keep their attention for hours. Although linear in its structure and without big surprises, the game manages to convey the feeling of real business management of a motel and rewards the player for patience, planning and smart investment.
