Virtua Fighter5 R.E.V.O. World Stage officially received a release date for PlayStation5, Xbox SeriesX/S and Steam: the game will be available on October 30, 2025. It was also revealed that the closed testing of the game will take place during September.
It is especially commendable that for players who purchased the basic version - the upgrade to the World Stage version will be free, while PlayStation 4 players who own Virtua Fighter5: Ultimate Showdown will be able to upgrade for $9.99, while the standard price is $19.99.
The new World Stage version introduces cross-play support, rollback netcode, a new single-player campaign, and Dural as a playable DLC character.
A version for Nintendo Switch2 has also been announced, but without an exact date - it will be released later.
