Legendary British publisher and development studio System 3 celebrated its 43rd birthday, confirming its status as the longest-running independent brand in video game history. Founded in 1982, System 3 has remained true to its mission of creativity, quality and complete independence, retaining ownership of all of its titles for over four decades.
On the occasion of the anniversary, the studio announced the release of The Last Ninja Collection, which will arrive on Steam PC on November 27, 2025, while versions for Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S will follow at a later date. The collection brings authentic emulations of classic releases from Commodore 64, Amiga and ZX Spectrum.
Also confirmed is James Pond Legacy: The Pond Is Not Enough, which will include faithful recreations of the original Sega, SNES and Amiga titles, with releases for PC and modern consoles. System 3 thus continues to transmit the spirit of the golden age of video games to new generations.
