Valve has officially launched the autumn edition of Steam Next Fest, an event that brings together thousands of indie developers every few months and allows players to try out upcoming titles for free via demo versions.
This time the festival continues from October 14 to 21, 2025., and brings hundreds of new demo games, livestreams with developers, Q&A sessions and exclusive announcements. The list includes a variety of genres – from survival horror and roguelite adventures to retro platformers and visual novels.
Steam Next Fest has served as a testing ground for future hits for years, and many developers use the event to gather community feedback before a game's final release.
