Capcom announced Resident Evil 9, official name Resident Evil: Requiem, which releases on February 27, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
This new era of survival horror also brings a new main character - FBI agent Grace Ashcroft. She comes to Raccoon City, a place that was destroyed by a bomb in Resident Evil 3, to investigate a series of gruesome murders and disappearances.
Requiem brings us back to the legendary city for the first time after its destruction, and Capcom announces a terrifying atmosphere and a new vision of the familiar environment. It is currently unknown whether the game will have a first- or third-person camera, nor what threats await us.
