Blizzard Entertainment has announced a trip back in time with a new event called Overwatch: Classic. This limited event, which will run from November 12 to December 2, 2024, will allow players to relive the original 2016 version of Overwatch.
Overwatch: Classic brings back the original roster of heroes with their original abilities, including a return to 6v6 game mode. Players will be able to enjoy classic maps and heroes such as Widowmaker, Hanzo, Junkrat and D.Va, with their old abilities that were present in the first version of the game.
One of the most exciting features of this event is the return of some of the game's most iconic metas, including 2017's “Moth Meta” and the three-tank, three-support “Goats” strategy. Also, players will be able to use heroes without limits, which means that it will be possible to have multiple of the same heroes in a team, at least in the first days of the event.
This event is the perfect opportunity for all Overwatch fans to reminisce about the old days and enjoy the nostalgic experience that marked the beginnings of this popular game.
